building knowledge & confidence

Ray of Hope School

The Ray of Hope School educates over 100 primary school age slum children and Friends of Ray of Hope own and fund the school.

As the children go through further education, we sponsor them so they can afford books and school uniforms. Our first children are now thriving at a university!

How we help

Over 100 children are being educated at any one time

A daily meal is provided

Funds are given to assist families in crisis

Children who graduate from the Ray of Hope School are sponsored into the State school system

Social workers are employed to offer social, medical & welfare support

We own the school and provide for its maintenance and upkeep

Support where it is most needed

More than a school

a small but loving community

Could you be a friend?

We currently educate 100 children but there is a need to expand. There is an increasing requirement for building working to the school and extra community care to ensure the children get the best start possible.

Our goal is to educate strong, happy children. In doing so, we create a nuturing cycle where the children want to give back to the school and help build a healthier, loving and independent community for the future.
